Service Learning Day 2007
Thanks to all of you who participated in Carlow's third annual Service Learning Day on Friday, August 24, 2007.
Participants numbered over 300 and represented every constituency within the University including students, faculty, staff, and administrators. These dedicated volunteers traveled to 23 different sites and provided approximately 1,200 hours of service. These hours can be translated to 150 eight-hour days or 5 months of work. Despite the heat and humidity, everyone joined in the spirit of the day and provided much important service to the people in Pittsburgh.
